Lego Pop Art Collection
Pop-Art collection
LEGO pop culture artist qargo reimagines iconic figures through interactive brick sculptures that blend storytelling, technology, and emotion. His Lego Pop Art collection turns each creation into a double-sided artwork: a stylized portrait on the front, and a scannable QR code on the back, revealing a personal, immersive story. A new artistic language born at the crossroads of play, memory, and digital culture.
Dialogue between art and technology
“Art is the manifestation of the unique; it never sees the same face twice.”
Indeed, the QR code – a central element of Lego Pop culture artist qargo. Indeed, the QR code — becomes an ideal bridge between the physical artwork and a virtual world waiting to be explored. This interactive approach also sparks a dialogue across generations, highlighting inspiring figures rooted in universal human values. Each LEGO sculpture thus becomes a point of connection between contemporary art, pop culture, and technology — offering an experience that is at once emotional, thought-provoking, and immersive.

meet the artist
qargo is a contemporary artist who works exclusively with LEGO® bricks as his medium of choice — a material he sees as a powerful vehicle for making contemporary art more accessible.
As a child, his mother would watch him build for hours and say: “Art is the way you put your heart into what you do.”
Japan, Games and Lego
Growing up in the 1980s, qargo was immersed in the rising world of now-legendary video games: Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Tetris… These icons subtly etched the pixel aesthetic and Japanese visual culture into his daily life — shaping a deep fascination that would later become a central and enduring inspiration in his artistic language. “Play shaped who I am. Art allows me to tell the story.” It is from this intimate fusion of memory, play, and form that he would eventually create his Lego Pop Art collection — a body of work unlike any other Lego Pop Art collection.
